Cookie Policy
Summary
SNCO Consulting Sdn Bhd uses a small number of cookies to operate www.sncoconsulting.com, to protect its enquiry form, and to measure website performance. This Policy explains the cookies used and how you can control them through your browser. For how we handle personal data collected via cookies, see our Privacy Policy.
1. About cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device that support website functionality, security and performance analysis. Similar technologies, including scripts served by the website’s hosting and security providers, perform comparable functions.
2. Cookies we use
Essential (always active). _cfuvid is set by Cloudflare, which provides the hosting and content delivery layer for this website. It supports traffic management and helps distinguish automated traffic from genuine visitors. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, so it cannot be read by scripts running on the page.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets a _ga cookie and a property-specific _ga_<ID> cookie, each lasting up to two years, used to distinguish users and retain session information. These are not used to identify individual visitors to us by name.
Form security. Pages containing an enquiry form use a bot-protection service to prevent automated submissions. That service may set a cookie on its own provider’s domain rather than on this website, and is governed by that provider’s own terms. Without it, the enquiry form cannot be protected against automated abuse.
We do not currently run advertising, marketing or social-media tracking cookies on this site.
3. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, which allow you to block or remove cookies already stored; see your browser’s help function for instructions. Most browsers allow analytics and third-party cookies to be blocked while leaving essential cookies in place. Blocking essential cookies may affect how parts of the site function, including the enquiry form. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
4. Third parties and retention
Analytics cookies are set by Google, and their retention and handling are also governed by Google’s own policies; default retention periods may change from time to time. Cookies set by the bot-protection service are governed by that provider’s policies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
5. External links
Our Site may link to Microsoft or other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites.
6. Updates and contact
We may amend this Policy periodically; changes are published here with a new review date. If we introduce additional cookies or a cookie-preference tool in future, we will update this Policy to describe them. Questions: enquiry@sncoconsulting.com.
